Hannah and Hilary both had a wonderful time at Prom!

The highlight of the evening (at least for the parents) is watching the students come down the county building steps and Promenade as couples. 

Note: A huge thank you to Aunt Melissa who made custom sleeves for the dresses in one day!

Family Fun Weekend

The weekend isn't even over but it has been fun and crazy busy!

We got to have Grandpa and Grandma Clark here for a couple of days, see 

some of our Clark cousins and go to dinner to celebrate Kimberly's graduation.

Then there was Junior Prom...

Spring Break Snippet

Spring Break was memorable, amazing and wonderful with the kiddos!

We saw new places, experienced new things and the kids are sold on cruising.

We all liked doing nothing but eating, snorkeling, shopping, sight seeing, swimming, sunning, some exercising and sleeping. We packed in about every minute of our spring break into this trip.

We are so glad that Emily was persuaded to skip a week of college and come with us!

Good News

It is always a little scary when you got out of your comfort zone and "try out" for something

that you want to do but really don't know if you'll make it.

Well, this last week we had a lot of good news!

Hilary made it on the Yearbook Staff for next year...

and...

Hannah will be a Staff Writer next year on Timpview's newspaper, The Thunderbolt.

Last but not least,

Emily was awarded an Art History scholarship which she did not apply for or even know existed.

Yes, it has been a wonderful week!

Hilary's Got Mail!

We woke up this morning and found a mailbox in our trees....

The mail was obviously for Hilary and most importantly included an 

invitation to PROM!

These boys were creative and apparently installing the mailbox in our trees around 1:30am!

A Business Trip

I used to really, really DISLIKE Las Vegas. I have a few horrible, indelible memories that involve this destination and let's just say that in years past I had no.desire.whatsover. to ever go back.

Well, with Dan's travel taking him to Las Vegas occasionally and its close proximity to home,

coupled with some amazing shopping to be had there, I've grown to like Las Vegas.

Last week, I took my very first "business trip" and attended an excellent educational conference with some fun ladies. I learned a lot and even better I came away inspired and motivated and feeling so fortunate that I get to do something I love in my free time.

However, the absolute BEST part of this trip was that my better half Dan coordinated his own business trip around my conference. We choose to drive so we could talk, relax, and enjoy the alone time.

In the evenings we ate out and shopped. And while we had a wonderful time, the kiddos were AWESOME and took care of each other on the home front.

I definitely have hit the jackpot!
