Practice Makes Perfect

So, I finally received my new camera in the mail and I've been pouring over the manual to try and figure out how the contraption even works. It is going to take some time to just learn the various settings and options. Obviously, I'm not looking to be a professional or even amateur photographer at that. The goal is to simply take better pictures of the family. Today, my darling niece Ruthie was my prop. Despite my lacking photography skills, I must say that she would make any picture perfect.
