I got caught yesterday throwing away an aluminium can in the wrong trash can. Admittedly, as I threw the can away the thought occurred to me that I really should recycle this but then I justified my decision to not recycle because my large blue trash can is literally overflowing. Thank you to my one and only "green girl" Hilary for reminding me that recycling is important. When she found the can in the upstairs trash can she just knew I was the culprit--sorry! Hilary then sweetly quoted environmental stats regarding recycling. This is very important to her and thank you, thank you for the reminder!

I confess, I am guilty too. But I threw away 2 soup cans, an empty plastic container, and a box. I felt a little guilty, but my blue barrell was overflowing as well. (Provo should really pick it up every week!) Anway, don't tell Hilary. She would be so disappointed with me.
