Young Woman Medallion

So proud of this girl for finishing her YW Personal Progress!
Her dad a.k.a. bishop presented her with her medallion in sacrament meeting Sunday.
A photo of her wearing her new gold medallion will be forthcoming.

I've had many people ask me if I make my girls finish their personal progress before they turn sixteen. I'm one fortunate mom because all three of my girls have taken the initiative and worked hard to complete it all at their own pace. I've merely played a supporting role. I'm grateful for the awesome example they all set for their younger sister.
Julia now hopes that when she gets her medallion that Dan will be bishop and be able to present it to her. She is almost 11... he's been bishop for 4 years... let's just say I hope he won't be in the position to do so!

Good job Hilary!!

Congratulations and good job, Hilary! That is a wonderful accomplishment and even more meaningful when the mom doesn't have to worry about it! We are so proud of you!
