if given the choice?
Just curious...we're sort split in the family on the choice.
We've decided we are going to "rough it" one night on Savai'i for the fun of it.
The first photo is a typical beach fale in Samoa--
thin mattresses and mosquito nets provided.
OR
a roofless platform set up at the top of a banyan tree in the middle of a rainforest--
mattresses and mosquito nets are also complimentary.
(Notice all the stairs involved to get to the top of the tree).
We are really interested in what you would do... let us know!

How do you choose?! They're both amazing! I think I would probably go with the Banyan tree though because it would be more likely to have another chance to sleep on the beach, where as the tree?! When will you EVER be able to do that again?!
It's tough though! Both such great choices! I'm always a fan of falling asleep to the sound of the ocean!
Hard decision - both look exotic! I guess we'd go with the beach fale, but let us know what you decide.
i would choose the one that had the LEAST probability of enticing spiders and other absolutely vile creatures. no but seriously, i am with heather, when would you ever be able to sleep in a tree again?!
Byron says, "that is freakin cool." very tough decision.... obviously it would be SO COOL to sleep in the tree but i would probably be way too nervous about getting attacked by some crazy bug or something. do the nets keep other things out besides mosquitos? They both look so fun fun though, you are going to love either one you choose i'm sure!
