Back to School Rush

It is hard to believe that we are staring a new school year in the face. I feel like a deer in headlights.

Despite my best efforts to accomplish every project and appointment
before the school year begins on Tuesday,
I have found myself running from one thing to the next the past few days.

To add to it all, I was floored with a new calling in our brand new ward...Young Women's President.
In full disclosure I am trying really hard to be excited.
I know what I am in for because I've done it twice before.
To add to it all, Dan is now on the high council (wow, a whole 3 days of no callings)!

The silver lining in all of it is that I get to spend Hilary and Hannah's last year in young women with them and Julia is a new Beehive.

In further full disclosure that just may be the downside for my girls...
that their mother is in young women with them again

I know what a huge responsibility it is to help lead and guide these amazing girls.
I have already felt a greater measure of the spirit with this calling which I know is just one of the many blessings associated with gospel service.

So, it is with my best efforts I move forward with faith and truly grateful for the opportunity.

It wouldn't feel like back to school without another doctor's appointment.
Hilary and Hannah were due for a check up and we had to get done quick when they found out
that they had been assigned medical internships this year at Timpview.
Part of their day will be spent in the hospital and so they were required to be tested for TB.

The best part of this doctor's visit was that it was planned...
everyone is healthy...
particularly Hilary.
For this I am most grateful!

Wow! Not much of a break for your family. There rarely is in this church. I can only imagine that you are a fabulous Young Women's President. I hope the girls in your ward know how lucky they are?
